CLIENT PORTAL

Our client portal is a secure area for us to share sensitive information with you, such as your tax returns. Documents in your client portal can be accessed at any time, from any device.

Not only can you access your documents, but you can access those of your related entities, all with one login.

Our portal utilises the power of Microsoft Sharepoint, so upon clicking the login button you will be redirected to a Microsoft login page. If you already have a Microsoft account, simply use those details to log in. If you don’t have a Microsoft account, you will be sent an access code to your email address.

FAQ's

When logging in for the first time, you are asked to setup 2 factor authentication on your phone (i.e. use your phone to generate a code).

When prompted to set this up, the screen you are given two options: The big next button (which created a QR code that can only be used in the Microsoft Authenticator app), or a link to use another app.

You need to choose the less obvious link, and then a QR code will be created that will work in your authentication app.

You can see this in our “Logging In” video above at the 2:50 mark.

Generally this is because the email address you are using to open our portal is different to the one we have invited. Common with people that have multiple emails.

Because of how internet browsers (such as Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Firefox, etc) work, if you have previously been signed into a Microsoft service with a different email, the internet browser will default to that email when logging into our portal. If that email is different to the one you have given us, you will get this error.

In this case, the solution is to clear the browsers cookies and cache and try again.

There are two reasons for this.

Firstly, it may simply be that we haven’t provided you with full access as yet – a simple email or phone call can fix this.

Alternatively, where we share a document with you and not the folder (which may be deliberate, say if you are a third-party), you only have access to the specific document via the link in the email. You may see that document in your “recent documents” list however, which would be one way of finding it.
